Pinglin is part of the water district of the greater Taipei area as the Feicui Dam is located in the neighboring Shiding District, so land development is restricted. Pinglin is most known for producing pouchong tea. The Pinglin Tea Museum is the world's largest tea museum. (Allegedly) Over 80% of its residents are tea growers or are involved in the tea business. An earthly green tea made with the JinXuan (Milk) Cultivar, this tea is similar to Japanese greens but with a milky Taiwanese twist… Hand picked, processed on site, very small batch.


Recommend Brewing Style:

• 3-5g per 100ml

• ~85-90C water

• 30, 45, 60 then add 5-10 seconds steeps in gaiwan.

• Lasts 4-5 steeps.
